この「未解決」とされた課題に対して題記の調査主題を設定しおもに英語にて関連文献を探索する 色と情動との関係はさまざまに論じられており以下に抜粋した ただし課題にあげられたOSD（スーパーインポーズとも）などレタリング（メッセージの配色・書体・配置などコンポジション）に限定した論文はいまのところ発見できておらず、これら探索継続して随時整理・変更していく
この領域が見通せるようになれば、たとえば情動にかぎらない各種の誘発因/VALENCEとレタリング形態との相関や、目標効果に対する最適レタリングの導出などの設計法につなげられる
